I went to the zoo today with my friend Dushantha.
I found overweight tigers in tiny enclosures and apathetic bears bereft of stimulation.
I spied leopard being tranquilised and lions pacing up and down their minute confines continuously as if in a trance.
It's not the best of zoos. It's almost the worst of Man.

agree one hundred percent with you. The last time i went to the zoo a couple of years back it was so depressing. I guess it's gotten worse now. It is indeed a sad state of affairs. I like your capture of the bear as it is very unusual and i have a soft spot for them.
